“JUST FIX THE DATE” – SURE, BUT IT’S NOT THAT SIMPLE
▪ At first glance, the case looked simple:
a selfie with a document + a sheet with a date and number.
▪ The task – update the date and remove extra digits.
The client had already tried to do it themselves… and that’s where everything fell apart.
▪ Where it broke:
– the date was “copied” in shape – it looked unnatural
– lines and tilt didn’t match the paper
– digits stood out by thickness and pressure
– editing traces were readable at the structural level
▪ These things don’t fail instantly,
but under careful comparison with the original.
▪ Even if it “looks fine” to the eye –
the system sees behavior inconsistencies.
▪ What we did:
– rebuilt the digit shapes to match natural handwriting
– adjusted tilt, pressure, and placement to the sheet
– synchronized the scene with the main photo
– carefully balanced the structure without visible editing traces
▪ As a result, the image came together into one logic,
instead of looking like an overlay.
▪ In tasks like this, it’s not about the tool,
but about understanding how a real object behaves.
